Commonly referred to as Bullet Wood or Spanish Cherry, this medium-sized evergreen tree is native to Western and Central Africa, but commonly found in parts of Southeast Asia and northern Australia. It can grow up to 16 m and is known for its dense wood. It has cream-colored showy flowers, that are fragrant when in bloom that produces orange/red fruits that has an edible pulp. It grows best in warm climates in full sun areas with well-draining soil.
