This beautiful tree is native to East Africa and can be known as the Velvet Seed Tree. It is most known for its dark green compound leaves and its attractive clustering flowers. When in bloom, the flowers are fragrant that develop into pods. When mature, these pods burst open to showcase a crimson red interior, containing velvety blue seeds.
