Densely clustering fan palm to 12′. Trunks about 1″ in diameter, covered in fiber; Leaves to about 1′ wide, with few leaflets with jagged tips.
Fruit pea-sized, white. Slow growth and excellent shade tolerance make it a great indoor plant. Variegated forms highly prized in some countries.
