Dwarf Sugar Palm, Formosa Palm

Somewhat cold-tolerant clustering feather leaf palm to 10′. Trunk short, clean, ringed; Foliage moderately plumose, with silvery undersides; Flowers slighly fragrant, held on short, pendent racemes;
Fruit marble-sized, red, with several seeds and irritating pulp (caution!).
Each stalk flowers and fruits down the trunk over a period of about a year before dying.
