Ceiba speciosa, also called floss-silk tree. This large semi-deciduous tree has several unique and attractive characteristics. Trunk and branches are covered with stout triangular spines, bark is green when young and turns to grey when matured. It can grow to about 60 feet tall and 30 feet wide.
