Solitairy feather leaf palm to 15-25′ (but often much shorter or even with a subterranean trunk). Leaves to 5′ long, white on underside, irregularly arranged on crown
(and often bent so as to gather the most sunlight). Fruits to 2″ long, pale yellow-orange when ripe, tighlty held on infructescence.
Syn. Polyandrococos caudescens.
