Evergreen fruit tree to 30′. Foliage to 4-6″ long, oblong, slightly corrugated, with red new growth. Fruit yellow-orange, 1-3″ in diameter, lumpy when full of seed, edible.
Many parts of plant are used medicinally in its native SE Asia.
